Margaret has moved to a larger pier (room) with a better view. Please continue to send messages in a bottle to her. Kate says Margaret looks great after her transfusion.

This blog is devoted to Margaret Carmen Thomas, who is starting on a new journey to beat leukemia. Margaret will use this space to communicate with family, friends, peers, art teachers, old hippies, doctors, lawyers and indian chiefs. Our prayers and good wishes are to be exchanged here. Hey, Art Room!
Now that you have a new room with a view, when are you going to start a new art series? The booby series needs a sequel!
The Music Room
Hi Margaret, I just found out that we can contact you through this from Carla, this is great! I am so happy to read up about what is going on with you and keep in touch. Bob and I have been praying for you and we are keeping you in our thoughts daily, too. I hope you are enjoying your new sunshine room too!
We used to shift piers all the time back in the Navy. I'd tell Margaret to meet me on the quarterdeck of my ship which was moored at Pier 3 in San Diego. When she showed up, the ship would not be there. Good thing she was a Navy brat and could tell a frigate from a cruiser. Knowing the ship's hull number helped. But she'd figure it out right away and show up at the top of the brow on my ship at Pier 11 without missing a beat.
We always manage to find each other even when circumstances change unexpectedly.
Thank you for all the prayers and support I've been getting from Heatherbrae!
