INDUCTION OF REMISSION — The most common remission induction regimen includes cytarabine (cytosine arabinoside, Ara-C, or Cytosar), given continuously for seven days through an intravenous (IV) line. Daunorubicin (Daunomycin, Cerubidine, or Rubidomycin) is given in a single IV dose for the first three days of treatment. This is sometimes known as the "7+3" regimen. In some medical centers a variation of this regimen is used, in which daunorubicin is replaced by idarubicin, or cytarabine is given alone in much higher doses. Not that anyone else would really know this, but of course, it seemed kinda interesting, just one of those things a person asks, you know, not that I REALLY was interested, but then again maybe you never know, so I just HAD to inquire and of course they informed me right away...
Anyway, I did ask if the spouse of the patient could also eat dinner with her, and the answer is YES. Only four bucks. Sounds like a good bargain. The food looks good. Balanced meals and all that. Yessir...
Ken, food ALWAYS looks better if you don't have to cook it and clean up afterwards.
Margaret, I'm glad your fever broke and you're not "cookin" anymore. You're doing a tremendous job fighting this battle, James and I are SO proud of you.
