Day 8- Dylan and His Mom

Tonight Dylan stopped by for a visit with his mom, while he was there he drew a picture for her. If you look closely it says, " I love you mom." This made Margaret very happy.

If your mom is Margaret, you grew up in a house where drawing comes second nature. Dylan may focus on music as his creative force, but he can easily whip out a drawing or cartoon. This one was just right and I'm sure it was heartfelt.

Margaret,
You're right it does look just like him. All of the kids were blessed with your talent. What a gift to give...
I remember when you drew a Birthday Card for me my freshman year of high school. It was a kitten poking it's head though some flowers. I was so impressed by it, I showed it to my dad (the artist in our family) and he said "Claudia keep that card your friend is going to be famous". Forty years later I still have that card and what's even better is that I have my dear friend who drew it. I continue to pray for your good health. Happy Easter!

I went to church yesterday, and during the sermon I looked at the cross and realized that the greater the suffering, the more beautiful the rebirth. Your fight against this is more than just a struggle for yourself, it is inspiration for everyone you know. Your strength gives us strength. I love you, Happy Easter Mama.

Art for me has always been a way to express myself and even now I pass the time drawing in my sktchbook. The blessings that cancer has brought me are the love of friends & family, and through that love I feel more connected with God. Claudia I'm sorry that card hasn't paid off for you yet. Maybe you should look into a 401k.
