I hope those ruby slippers do the trick!
You are doing one terrific job navigating that little boat of yours. Make sure and take time to enjoy the quiet before the next storm. I know you have the strength and will to reach shore!
Much Love,
Claudia
P.S. I hope you know how many people have oars in the water with you, we are here to help you in your journey.
I'm proud of you mama! I know we are all happy you are coming home....especially Kosmo! Now you have to make up for that margarita you missed last week!
I picked up Margaret from the hospital last night, and whisked her away to her comfy home. She was very happy to be back. But I knew that after three weeks of being away, she might be wary of conditions she'd find when returning to a house where Dylan & I had been exisiting without her homemaker's influence.
First thing she said was "The bulb is burned out in the porch light. Replace it."
Aye, aye! Then she hugged the dog and propped herself in the bench on the porch and just sat there looking out onto the quiet yard, listening to the birds.
Claudia & James dropped by shortly afterwards and we enjoyed their visit. Margaret is now sporting a buzz cut, BTW.
