Margaret has received letters and cards from many of her friends, fellow educators, neighbors, and family members from Hawaii to Puerto Rico and most points in between.

She really enjoys receiving them; they boost her spirits and she is saving them all. Some are tacked up on her bulletin board in the hospital room.

Some of the people from whom she has received letters and cards during recent weeks:

Cousin Melodie in Georgia; Alana & Tish; Aunt Mona and Aunt Myrna & Uncle Howard in Oklahoma; neigbors Becki, Bob & Karen; Cousin Terry in Payson; Cartwright district teachers & staff including Margie, Kerri, Jen, Deanne, Jessalyn, Laura, Carla (Music Room), Ms. Rathburn, Sheila, Dawn, Nancye, Ms. Jancoski's class, Alyssa, Krisa, Heather, Angelina, Nancy, Kim, Elisa, Jen (2nd Grade Team), Deborah, Barb, Jeane, Yolanda, Eva, Kendra, Sue, Debora, Linda P., Kerri, Nancy P., Tish & Alana, Paulette, Jane M., and Margaret at the district office; Aunt Wilma & Uncle Dave in Georgia; Janet in Wyoming; the outlaw in-laws Wanda & Marvin in Payson; Major Neal while TDY in Hawaii; Cousin Manuel Antonio & Nani (and their son Francisco Javier) in Puerto Rico; Lee & Kathy in Laveen; sister-in-law Rhonda in California; Cousins Jose Braulio & Roberto in Puerto Rico; Kate & Colleen; Mary & Mo; Chris in Alaska; Dan & Ann in Flagstaff; the young ladies Rachelle, Jennifer, Betsy & Jessica; James & Claudia and Ruth; Madre Carmen; Raymond & Sally; Paul & Amy; Lola; Cheryl & Alan; Karen Sue; Gary & Steve; and many others.

If I left your name off this list, I hope you forgive me. I'm sure it is not complete.

It's not the AMOUNT of cards that is important. What gives Margaret strength is hearing from each individual person and knowing they are praying for her and sending good wishes.
